When I was a child, I studied and explored the black pottery culture in my hometown in the Dong District of Jiaodong while serving as an assistant to the village committee. This experience deeply immersed me in our rich cultural heritage and ignited my passion for preserving these priceless treasures.
Later, I moved to Beijing to continue my studies and was fortunate enough to intern with a UNESCO project in China. There, I learned about the application of remote sensing technology in cultural heritage conservation and how this advanced technology helps us monitor, manage, and protect sites with precision from the air.
During this time, I also studied the art of photography, both in still images and film. I am determined to use these skills to create images with humanistic value, hoping to raise awareness and appreciation for our cultural heritage.
Subsequently, I delved into artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies, mastering NeRF (Neural Radiance Fields) and mobile-based digital reconstruction using software like PolyCam. I also gained experience in operating drones for aerial photography of heritage sites. I believe these technologies can be combined with innovations in spatial computing.
To protect more traditional cultures and support artisans from my hometown, I founded a digital museum and an NPO for a cultural business association. These efforts aim to leverage cutting-edge technologies to provide new pathways for the preservation and development of traditional culture, while also supporting artisans dedicated to preserving their craft.
